After a childhood in a farming community in the north of England, Jessie moved to Derby to study for a B.A in Photography. She arrived in London in 1999 and started shooting for Scotland on Sunday, Conde Nast Traveler, DJ Magazine, Muzik Magazine, Caterer, Management Today amongst other titles.
Jessie now lives in Auckland, New Zealand, where she continues to shoot editorially and commercially. Her NZ clients include Sunday Magazine, Metro, North and South, Next Magazine, NZ House and Garden, Gen-i and many others.
In 2003 Jessie and her husband spent nine months traveling through Latin America, where most of the “Youth” project was shot. The book and exhibition, Champions: New Zealand Winners, was shot 2007/8.
