Champions: The Documentary
Jessie filmed the journey around New Zealand to make Champions: New Zealand Winners as well as all of the interviews with the subjects. 27 hrs of footage was taken and this has now been edited down to a 1hr documentary which will tell the story of her adventures on the road and finding and photographing the champions for the book. The trip was not without its highs and lows and these misadventures coupled with the honest insightful interviews with the subjects captures the passion and determination of ordinary Kiwi’s so inherent with the spirit of New Zealanders. Screening will be on TV3, dates and time have yet to be confirmed.
